Parity, out loud: the Mafia win the moment they equal or outnumber everyone still breathing. The Godmother and the Postman are not Mafia, so they sit on the other side of that math.

What the TV says
Every morning tells one of these. Deliver them the same way every time, so the room never learns anything from your voice.
The blade landed
“The Mafia visited last night. [Name] did not survive.”
The first person to die becomes the Undertaker. The board gives them the job and their phone tells them. Change it on the Table tab if you want.
A miraculous save
“The Mafia struck last night… and a miracle answered. No one died.”
The Doctors caught it. Say nothing about who.
Steel met steel
“The Mafia struck last night… and steel met steel. No one died.”
A Vest. Tap him in the dark, never in the light.
No body at all
“Someone in this room is dying.”
The poison. Only the victim knows. One day, then they fall at the next dawn unless the Quack dies first.
A hero fell
“A hero fell last night.”
The Bodyguard took the second blade for his ward. One sentence. Strictly one.
If the town votes out the Postman: he goes postal and everyone dies. Let it happen.
Inquire of the Dead: two-thirds of the living, voted blind. If it passes it replaces the trial. One yes or no question. One knock yes, two knocks no. Once per game.
Night 1
Make the calls in this order. Tap the face each group chooses. The board works out what the dawn says while you go, and applies it when you bring the dawn.
Order of the Night
Every call, every night, same cadence. Alive, dead or turned. An empty call has to sound exactly like an answered one.
Day 1
The record of the day, with the detail. The next step is always the big button at the top of the screen.
The Day, out loud
Deliberation. Speak, then hand in the air. Hand stays up, you stay silent.
The count. Open it here and every phone gets the ballot. It is public: everyone sees who pointed at whom, on the TV and in their notebook. Top two go on trial. A tie for the last seat is run off between the tied.
The trial. Both plead, then turn around, blind to the room, and the group votes by hand.
The sentence. The Undertaker walks the loser to the Graveyard.
The sunset. Everyone sleeps. Only then do you say whether the town can rest any easier tonight.

Sounds & Music
These play out of the TV, about a second after you tap. The TV has to have been tapped once tonight to unlock its speaker. The harp plays itself at every dawn, and the bell tolls when the game ends. They are real film-library recordings — see where they come from. Most cues have several recordings behind them and the TV picks a different one each time.
On: the TV plays a cue by itself as the night moves — a howl, thunder or footsteps when night falls; the dawn shimmer, then a gasp if somebody fell; a heartbeat when the count opens; a sting at the trial; a gasp or a bell when the sentence is carried out; the church bell when it is over. Different recording every time. The buttons above still work whenever you want more.
Atmosphere
The TV keeps a real recorded atmosphere under the evening, and it follows the time of day. While people arrive and at sunset it is crickets and a light wind. Night is crickets, a desolate wind and a porch sign creaking, with an owl and the odd floorboard. Dawn opens with a rooster and a chorus of birds. The day is birdsong and wind in the trees. The count and the trial sit on a low rumble and a cold wind. It fades from one to the next when the phase changes, steps aside whenever the playlist is playing, and needs no account. Soft sits under conversation. Full is for the moment everyone shuts up.

How this works. Once the TV is signed in, the TV itself becomes a Spotify player, the same as a speaker in the Spotify app. Whole songs, shuffled, starting from a random place, and when the rule pauses it for a night it picks up where it stopped. Sign in once per venue: tap the button above and the TV screen goes to Spotify's login; sign in there and it comes straight back. Premium is required, and the TV must be a Chrome-type browser. Not signed in? The old embedded player runs instead, which cannot shuffle and gives only previews unless that browser is signed in to Premium.

Table code
Put the TV page on the big screen. It carries the code and the QR the whole night.
Same crowd, another round? Use New game, same people on the Table tab. The code stays the same, everyone keeps their seat and their face, and only the roles, deaths and letters are wiped. Nobody has to scan anything again.
Different night, different room? Use New table at the top. That makes a brand new code with nobody in it, and every phone has to scan in again. Your PIN stays the same.
About your PIN. It is the key to your tables, not to one game. Any phone that knows a table's code and your PIN can run that table, which is how you hand the Narrator screen to someone else. Keep using the same PIN every night.
That does not delete anything. It just sends this phone back to the opening screen so you can start a new table or open a different one.
